WL4J Wish List
As we are doing outreach to our neighborhood, we are finding that there is a need for the people that needs to be met.

We are currently having Kid’s Saturday Fellowship at our home for our neighborhood children. We are teaching things of the bible, teaching about respecting each other and others. We are also doing arts and crafts with the children of the neighborhood along with having gatherings for the children such as pizza parties and bowling trips. Most of these children do not leave the neighborhood, let alone experience any kind of community fellowship.

We put together programs to offer assistance with GED preparation, computer training, resume assistance, job interview skills and assistance with finding a job. We are looking to build the communities up and not tear down.

We are also still offering fellowship with the neighbors by offering support to all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are always doing outreach and spreading the word of God and are holding Fellowship Nights in our home with our neighbors with offering free food as we witness and encourage them to come to know the Lord.

We are looking for new ideas to help with the outreaching along with people who are concerned about the welfare of others. The importance of all our outreach is to reach those in need.

We offer also workshops to all free of charge, with the only exception is 3 hours outside of the Pittsburgh area, this is when we request traveling expense for tolls and gas, and if need be a hotel room, the rest of our services.

Living Victorious is a subdivision of Women Living 4 Jesus Ministries and truly working hand in hand with the sisters of WL4J to make a difference. We are going to in the near future start expanding these programs to other areas that are in need, and also expanding the geographic areas that we will offer services to. Of course this all takes time and resources…henceforth the wish list.

Some of you have asked us what can you do to help with the ministry and the work of WL4J and LV (Women Living 4 Jesus and Living Victorious) ...first let us say that reaching out to all those that are around you and helping them is the first thing that you can do...to really be there for your neighbors and fellow citizens. God is truly blessing our walk here in Pittsburgh and there is still more to come. It is important that we meet the needs of the people that we are witnessing to and we have to take that into consideration when we are witnessing.

So for your own witnessing...remember that hungry people hear better with food in their bellies, that jobless people hear better while learning new skills to help them get a better job, and those that still need to learn to read - will read the bible if you teach them how to read...we have to fill the need of the people...seek the guidance of the Lord to help you meet those needs and watch what happens...the Lord will move things and miracles shall happen...people will come to be saved and live the right life before Christ. AMEN!

We are not a church nor are we trying to be a church, we are trying to be what God has called all of us to be, helpers to those in need.
