Praise the Lord! What a beautiful day it is! I am sleepy but thankful! God is good and for that I am eternally grateful. I am truly striving to live according to the will of the Lord in my life and though there are moments of pure struggle, there are so many more moments of pure joy over the struggles.

I was going to write about my hubby and I – our weekend was very trying and still has some moments but I have been just pressed more than ever before to speak more on getting our lives lined up with Jesus.

As most of you know, I am not one to quote a bunch of scripture which does unnerve some of my sisters – but that is okay – we will work it out! Yet, the truth is the truth no matter how you look at it and the truth of the matter is that we are falling sisters.

So many of us are so busy doing everything else – working, taking care of our families, and doing what we think needs to be done – yet we are not taking the time to spend with the Lord daily in Him. We do not stop to read the word as we should – so the WL4J weekly challenge for this week – appears to be something that we can not do – well that is a lie from the pit of hell.

How much time do we WASTE watching television, talking on the phone with our friends talking about others or things that are not of any importance just eating up our day will idle chatter? How much time do we waste sitting on line on all the different social networks never even once a day mentioning Jesus to anyone. . . some places we are visiting on line is not even a place that He would approve of any how. How much time are we wasting playing video games or online games? Hey this even includes family time, for you could spend family time reading the word together!

How much time are we really wasting not spending it in the Lord? Think of that the next time you are wondering what is going on in your life, why it is struggle after struggle – pain after pain, hurt after hurt – never seeming to lessen only getting worse. Do you know that most of us would never read the word or talk to the Lord at all if we were not going through something?

Many of us have been praying to the Lord for a new job, or a husband, or even just the prospect of a husband or praying for more financial assistance – talking to the Lord daily about our situations – praising Him and thanking Him but the minute we get that new job, that husband, that money or even that prospect of a husband – we are done.

We make excuses as to why we no longer have time for Him – how we are too busy – BUT HE IS NEVER TOO BUSY FOR US!

If you are not filled up on the word of God – you are going to be empty in your life. You are always going to feel like you are missing out on something – that your life is missing meaning. You are always going to feel like you are falling for when we fall – we do not get up without looking up to the Lord first!

We need to see Jesus as what He truly is – He is our Lord and Savior – we were made in His image and we were made to praise Him.

The Elder who spoke at our church yesterday asked us the question – do we love Jesus as He loves us? Well I started thinking about that and as much as I think I do -  I thought to myself have I really given ALL of my life over to Him – do I love Him with all I have? Can I praise Him and not care what people think OUTSIDE OF CHURCH? Can I speak of His goodness everywhere I go?

So I pose to you what the Elder posed to us on Sunday –

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Do you love the Lord as He loves you? Do you seek Him early?

Now my questions to you. . .

As I read that scripture – I think of this . . . in seeking Him early that is not just the time of day – but frame of mind. Do you seek Him first in every thing – do you seek Him early ‘enough’ in your situations – such as the moment it crosses your mind?

Are you loving God as He loves you? He has given His life for us – could you give your life for Him? Think about it, really think about it. The Elder had spoke how we as a world are moving to the ‘one world’ thinking as mentioned in the bible, this was not news to me as I have been paying attention to the things that have been said.

If you are paying attention to the quiet things in politics – you can see it coming a mile away. The talks of peace, the talks of unity, and the talks of freedom for all those that are oppressed – it is more noticeable than ever before. It could happen in our life time if this is what God is calling for – which means many Christians are going to be called on it.

Are you ready to die for Jesus as He died for you – really think about it and if you are unsure if you are or not – start talking to Him. . . for when He returns – are you truly going to be able to say that you are going with Him. We should know in our spirits if we are going with Him or not.

We know how we are living – hope is awesome – we hope we do but do we know we are? We need to know that we love Him with all we have and know that this ensures that we shall go with Him!

Psalm 107:1-2 1O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. 2Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

I prayed this morning on my way to work that I am ready for His return and if I am truly not ready for Him to make me ready. I prayed this morning to live solely for Him and my flesh to die a horrible death unto the Lord for a horrible death means that my flesh stays dead and that I walk in the spirit of the Lord.

I have prayed this morning that all of you are ready for His return and if you are not that He makes you aware and that your hearts take count that He is Lord and prepare yourself for His return. We can not be caught without oil in our lamps – we must be ready – we must be prepared – we must be living for Him.

We must cast all that which is not of Him out of our lives – our attitudes, our way of thinking and doing things, our thoughts, our actions, our moods, our speech, and our love for ourselves must be cast aside and our cross must be taken up and following Him for in Him is eternal life and there is no life without Him in our lives.

My sisters – please take heed – the time is coming and we must be ready for His return – we must be ready for His return – listen sisters – we must be ready for when that sky is cracked and He is returning for His bride and we are not ready – we will be left – left for all eternity separated from Him to be lost forever more! I pray that you take heed of what is saying and bring your life closer to Him – no more excuses but moving forward – reaching out when you need prayer – reading and studying His word – fasting and praying and making His will the only will in your life.

Time is winding up or down – depending on how you look at it – take this day as an new opportunity to serve Him and just do it – the more you do – the easier it will become – keep your focus on Jesus!

Until next time – God Bless
