Praise the Lord for all things! Not some things but all things regardless if it appears to be good or bad, because in all things God will receive the glory for all things work together for my good for I am the called according to His purpose….how many of us really believe that? How many of us know that we are “the called” according to His purpose? Hummmm…just something to think about.

On this past Sunday I experienced something that I have been looking to experience yet again. My hubby plays the music for our Sunday service, and this past Sunday, he did something that at first I was looking at him like he was nuts. When we are used to doing things according to the same old same thing, when something new is thrown at us, we tend to be thrown. We have an order to service, which is not a bad thing, but sometimes the Lord changes the order and we need to go with it.

It was something as he started a song that I had never heard, but with him that is nothing new to me as he has such a vast list of songs of praise. Yet this one had a “Jewish” kind of beat to it, you know the kind of song that you when you hear it, you think of a bunch of people in a circle doing a group dance as you see in the movies for Jewish celebrations. It was a good song, as he was singing it he called for us to dance in the name of Jesus. Well, I thought that was “weird” yet I did it. Well the next thing he did was call us all down to the front of the church…WHAT??? LOL Everyone looked to our pastor, who nodded his head – I think! LOL I just know we all started moving to the front and made a circle.

If you have never heard Merv sing…two things – the Lord has anointed his voice AND he is loud! LOL He started calling us to praise the Lord. Well I did why not…Jesus deserves our praises!!! I was praising the Lord and for one second, I realized everyone went back to their seat and I was up in front of the church with the praise and worship leaders – yet for just one second I realized that…BUT GOD had something for me…it was at that moment that I realized that I was no longer hurting…my legs had stopped hurting, my arms were not hurting, my shoulders were not hurting and my back was not hurting. So I was able to forget that everyone was there and just praise the Lord for all He is to me. I have wanted to get back there 100% and I was there! Praise the Lord!

All I could hear in my head was YOU ARE HEALED – ACCEPT YOUR HEALING – PRAISE HIM!! Well that is all I needed…my hubby tells me that I was dancing and shouting and jumping…I personally just remember feeling good…no pain in my body…no pain and no negative thoughts…it was gone. I started hearing the Lord saying to me to walk in my calling and do as He says to do.

Well it is Tuesday and still no pain, sure I did not get much sleep the last couple of nights but that has nothing to do with my body…my hubby is a LOUD snorer…so I have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. LOL Yet, there is still no pain in my body and I feel good. I am thankful to the Lord for the blessings that He has given unto me this day.

It just leads me to tell each of you that regardless of what you are “used” to, sometimes the Lord calls us out of our comfort zone and we need to move according to His will and His way for our lives.

As I was listening to my husband during service, the first thought in my mind was what is he doing? He is going to get people mad or worse, Pastor is going to say something to him. LOL Yet, I know my husband….he does nothing in service without the moving of the Holy Spirit directing him. He is the only other person besides myself that I know when he does something that the Lord is directing him…of course this is because he is my husband. I am not saying that others are not moved by the Lord; it is just that my relationship with him is way different than any other relationship in my life. So when he says God said, I have learned to shut up and do.

Of course this was after several attempts of telling him that he was nuts – yet the Lord revealed Himself in it so now I just know that the Lord uses him in that manner. Well some members of the church still need to get used to that but they will learn like I did, for the Lord has a calling on my home church! I am thankful that the Lord uses him in that manner, not that he is always walking in the spirit as he is human just like the rest of us, he just has learned to listen to the Lord and do what the Lord says without questioning it or at least not appearing to be questioning it.

Well after service as we were talking, he proceeded to tell me how the Lord had called for us to praise Him. Well that is what we did…still it was the “same people” who are always praising the Lord anyhow but that is all right as I felt better. It is something how the praises to God go up, how much the Lord moves on your life for He dwells in the praises of His people. So when the Lord calls you to move outside of the box and praise Him…praise Him for He dwells in the praises of His people! Remember that the Lord is calling for His people to praise Him and to give Him the praise for all your life…not just part of it but all of it. God is calling all of us to praise Him for all eternity….it is in your praise that you will feel the presence of God…let it go and just praise Him with all that you have and let the Lord fight your battles for as you dance in Him….the enemy is getting dealt with too…you are kicking him out of your life and ushering in more of Jesus! AMEN!

Have an awesome and blessed day in the Lord!
