2 Chronicles 20:15And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.
2 Chronicles 32:8With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
Ephesians 5:19-20 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 6:11-12 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Praise the Lord! I am thankful to be here today and truly just asking God to move right now in the name of Jesus on the behalf of all of us who are walking with Him today. The enemy is on the rampage but we need to wait on the Lord for His direction and to allow Him to fight for us.
I slept so good last night and just feeling pretty good this morning. I listened to Merv and Jonathan banter back and forth along with just relaxing in the morning. I am not going to be rushed and truly taking my time to do all that I need to do today. Yet the enemy will still attack. We have to make ourselves aware of what this about and truly understand what the word says.
The Truth of Alissa today is…one of my biggest pet peeves is to be told that I am wrong when you have not heard me out. It drives me nuts. I cannot stand it and the enemy uses that against me ALL THE TIME! I am not perfect by any means and everything I say is NOT golden, but at least hear me out before you make a comment on what I have to say.
I find that most people do not listen to what some one is saying before jumping to conclusions. I cannot stand that, let me finish what I am saying and then you can comment. Yet most people will not do that, especially if what you are saying appears in their eyes to be against them. I have noticed that the enemy has been using that fault/pet peeve in me to fuel me to argue or sometimes downright end the conversation because of someone not hearing me out. As I have mentioned before, I have anger issues. The Lord is truly working with me on this and every single time I get better at it…here comes a new angle. LOL Of course the enemy is going to come with something new, why am I surprised. So I have a new thing for him…SILENCE!
I am learning to shut up and just pray! I am moving forward in the Lord and as hard as it gets – I am going to be SILENT AND PRAY! I know that the Lord will fight my battles, no matter how big or small they are. He will fight for me and I am to trust in the Lord for all things. He has shown me time and time again, how He not only fights my battles but takes care of me. I am important to Him and I shall just rest in Him.
I get so tired of explaining myself sometimes and the Lord said to me this very morning, silence is golden, I am here for you. So I started praying and I have the victory in Jesus! AMEN So as we go through our days, remember that we are not fighting that person or thing, it is the Lord who will fight for us…we can sit back and rest, for the Lord is fighting on our behalf because we belong to Him.
Have a great day for victory is yours in the Lord!
I love the Jesus in you!
God Bless
