Praise the Lord! WOW – the enemy is really cutting up lately! I have been asked by so many sisters about their husband’s either cheating (caught in the act) or caught in the act of about to cheat! My heart aches for these marriages – not just the sisters but the brothers! Yet there is also the wives looking to leave or cheat husbands.

Yet there is a few things that make this happen . . . first our walk with the Lord and second our relationship with our spouse. It is really hard on families to deal with these issues and all church folks say is pray about it!

Well enough of that – we need to take it even a step farther – yes we better be praying on it but we also need to do some action work too. Jesus will fix anything and He will direct you on what to do so prayer is first along with your relationship with God! This has to be in order and totally being cultivated.

Okay – but we know this – what about after that? What do I do about my husband? NOTHING! Yes nothing – it is you that we want to discuss. There is nothing you can do about him. He is a grown man – able to make his own decisions but it is up to you to be what God has called you to be.

The only person who can make a difference in your life is YOU! I NEVER suggest to sisters to divorce their husbands for any reasons. NOW that does not mean separations are not sometimes needed . . . this is not a divorce – it is a separation.

We need to understand God did not call us to divorce. Yes I have two divorces under my belt and I still do not believe in divorce. Even if YOU think you have selected the wrong spouse – God is still in charge! Yet this is not about divorce – man I could tell ya some stories! LOL

We are women and there is something that we must always remember – we are also chosen of the Lord too! He gives us direction and love just as He gives men.

We are required to do the things of the Lord and this we shall do in Him. So as a woman in the Lord when you find out that your spouse is cutting up or about to cut up with another woman – should you lose your mind? NOPE but are you going to lose your mind – you might for a minute or two. Just do not be like me and pull out the gun and baseball bat to kill them . . . they are not worth it!

Yet what should we do – well first after praying – start looking at your relationship – remember the days before marriage. It is time to be totally honest with you. Did you see before hand that he had this habit? Did you see a change in him after having sex with him? (Most women have sex with their husband’s before marriage – yes yall know I say wait but most people do not put that part of their lives in check)

Okay think about it – really look over his attitude before marriage – is it really much different than after marriage. . .remember we are not evaluating him or trying to make him change – we are looking at us. We need to concentrate on us and pray for him. The Lord will deal with him – just as he deals with me.

Okay – he was the same prior to the marriage – this is a true sign that it is not about you in the relationship as far as why he does what he does. As hard as it is to deal with – he was like this prior to marriage and nagging him is not going to work. (Actually nagging never works long term anyhow) What can you do – pray and seek God! I know that may sound mean but I would wonder if God wanted you with this man in the first place – whose choice was it – yours or God’s.

The direction and leadership of the Lord is needed in your life as you need to hear from Him what to do. Seeking counseling for your marriage is always a great idea when you have the right therapist but chances are that a lot of husband’s will not want to attend but if he is willing – suggest it. Yet seek the guidance of the Lord.

Yet if he does not choose to do so – can your marriage be saved? Yes it can but his mindset is going to need to be changed. Most men when ‘caught’ in the act will deny until there is no other way – and some of them even when busted will deny it still – saying it was all in fun or even pushing it back on you!

Yes keep your cool. We have to do some things sometimes that we do not like to do. For example – stop asking him – you know you busted him and he knows you busted him. There is no need to keep asking him why – just wait a little bit. With so many emotions going on all around – this will lead to arguments and more pain from the words spoken during that time.

Okay this is going to take a minute to write up so – let’s break this down into different parts . . .

1st – Focus needs to be first on the Lord – Matthew 6:32-33

2nd – Do not focus on what he is doing but what you are doing

3rd – Look over the relationship PRIOR to marriage – what was it like then – allow yourself to see the real truth of all of it – the good, the bad and the I really want to forget it!

Praise the Lord! WOW – November 30th – the last day of November and December is tomorrow – time sure does fly! I am just so amazed at how time flies by now and to think that this is just a few moments ago it seemed like July was here! Plus I tell ya to me it always seems that December just flies by quicker than any other month!  

I posted on Twitter and Facebook today this thought: 

Acknowledging Jesus is a requirement but living for/with/in Jesus is Heaven! Every knee shall bow but few are chosen. Do you serve Jesus? 

It is amazing how many are confessing Christ with the lips but their actions are not following!! We can see this by the fruit that they bear. Yet it is not to judge but to pray for them and that God will open their eyes to what is going on around them.

It amazes me how awesome God truly is and what He does in our lives to show us things. I was witness to a serious attack spiritually on another sister yesterday. The venom of the one was so obvious that it amazed me that we just got out of service and their actions were as such.  

We have to watch the fruit of those around us and what they produce – many are called but few are chosen. I have seen things from a few people that have me really calling out to the Lord for my home church. The wolves are trying to come in as sheep but THANK YOU JESUS – He is revealing them as for what they are to those of us that walk in the Lord and according to His word! 

Discernment is needed – we need to be praying for discernment so that we are not deceived.  

Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Matthew 22:13-14 13Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14For many are called, but few are chosen.

He calls for us to know Him – to know His voice and to know those that serve Him, but to do all this – we have to know Him. So many of us are falling behind in our daily study of the bible, our daily conversations with the Lord and just falling behind in our walk period but yet we say we are ready for the kingdom or we are ready for the blessings of the Lord!

We have to live for Christ and surround ourselves with the things of the Lord – if we do not – guess what – we are going to fall apart. We are going to be depressed, hurt, feeling alone and just down right ready to give up – why because your spiritual food is missing from your life – you are malnutrition and the Lord is so busy trying to feed us but we are too busy to slow down and sit at His feet and receive.

Rushing through the things God has for us is going to make us fat and lazy – we are not going to have slim and trim attitudes in the Lord. Compare this with our eating habits. . .

We are to sit still and eat our food. Not only should we eat healthy food that is good for us but we are to sit still and eat slowly and chew our food thoroughly – we need to take out time and eat – every single nutritionist that you ever talk to will tell you the importance of this very thing in your eating habits. It is not just what you eat but how you eat too!

See it is not just what you absorb from the Lord but how you absorb it! We are doing the Weekly Challenge – Getting Closer to Jesus and it is to jump start us to walking closer to the Lord and stronger in Him – to be fed right but if you are not doing it daily – you are going to be feeling weak just as if you have not eaten.

The enemy will present things and situations before you that you will not want to flee from because it is easier to give in. Without the proper time with the Lord – you will be able to lie more, yell more, fuss more, cuss more, cheat more, just plain sin more than if you were armed with the FULL armour of the Lord!

Do not go out in this world without the protection of Jesus or you are going to die a horrible and eternal death!

Get right before the Lord before it is too late – I would hate to see you left behind and not able to spend eternity with Jesus.

So I ask you yet again. . .

With one more thing . . . In serving the Lord – you have to know Him – how well do you know Jesus?

Praise the Lord! I was watching Selena and actually listening to her voice. It is really amazing to me that there is such talent out there – God given talent just out there. It sometimes makes ya just feel like you are falling short in the talent area sometimes.

This is where it is so important to know who you are in Jesus! It is where we need to make sure we are really sure of who we are period. The world has this thing about us fitting a certain mold of things and we as Christian have let it spill over to our own ways in the church and in our lives.

We go by standards that are not God’s standards – we need to measure life according to the word of the Lord not by our own thoughts and ways of doing things. God can and will use anyone for any time that He sees fit.

We need to remember that God is still in control! Keep remember who is still in charge – look in the mirror and love the person that you see and do not compare that person to anyone but Jesus!

Keep us in prayer please as we are attempting to find a new home so that we can move – we are looking into adopting more children and of course that is not going to work in this house. We know that there is a place for us – may it be during this time and in His will only!

Praise the Lord! I pray that all who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday had a great day!  

I was able to do nothing but relax! Yahoo! We had Morning Prayer and Praise service at 9:30 AM and that was truly a blessing to be at! I loved it! We went home for about 1 hour and then off we went. I had to drop off Jonathan at my sister’s house so that he could go with her to Ohio. I took Merv to work and then I headed back to my house.  

Once I was home – I did the last minute stuff for Thanksgiving dinner – made the Mac/Cheese and Angel Eggs (Deviled Eggs but husband does not like to call them that!) I went on that couch – put on the word – listened to my word. Watch some television while setting up things on my computer! I just relaxed and enjoyed myself yet there was some things that I just had to do yesterday! LOL 

It amazes me at this time of the year how many people profess God and knowing God and how thankful they are but yet do not understand that the best way to thank the Lord is to live your life according to His words. It is about Holiness and living according to His word. 

It is so hard to read all those FB (Facebook) comments on people who only profess God during the holidays! What about living your life according to His will all year long – according to His word all year long? I read so many I thank God for this and that – and all I wanted to do was comment back and say – Hey what about the rest of the year – when was the last time you stepped into church? The only reason why I did not was because people will say dumb stuff back that really makes me want to choke them and since that is not the Christian way – I refrain! Hey I know my weaknesses and learning to put them in check. 

One of the worst ones ever is – “I worship God in my way” which is tied with “Jesus knows my heart!” I give scripture but you know most do not want to hear that any ways. It is funny though – how people think they have so much time to get their lives right! Hummmm….no one is promised tomorrow.  Yesterday during our morning service of thanks at church – my pastor read this. . .  

Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

He went on to say that we are to not just be joyful – but to shout – it says NOISE lol! He made me think about it. I was thinking how we see churches today that are so laid back barely an AMEN! We see people who say they serve the Lord or in service of the Lord and sit on their butts and never have a praise for the Lord! We see people afraid to speak of the goodness of Jesus BUT we have unsaved folks thanking God once a year.

Yet everyone says ‘well at least they said it” okay I get the concept of that answer but you know what – My Jesus deserves better than that. Saying it once a year is like offering up a half way sorry to someone when your heart is really not in it. If you are truly thankful to live for the Lord – your life will reflect it DAILY!!!

We need to give God the praise daily – it says in His word all over the place to offer up praise to Him yet we walk through this life thinking on self and call ourselves Christians.

It grieves my spirit when I see sisters and brothers in Christ – saying one thing and their lives reflect another. It grieves me to no end when I read how people think that all they have to do is confess and not live it that they will still get to heaven. WHAT!!!!!

We can not live our lives any old way and expect Jesus to say “Welcome”

What have we done in our lives to show Him that we love Him?
Do we worship Him – to we learn more of Him?
Do we sing a new song of praise?
Do we love all those that we meet?
Do we treat others as we want to be treated?
Do we give to those in need?
Do we even care where we are spending eternity?
Do we believe with our whole hearts that He is Jesus Christ?
DO WE BELIEVE IN A LIFE IN CHIRST?

We need to make sure we are living right – we need to make sure we are striving to live for Christ every single second of our day! Live for Jesus this day!! Live for Him every day!! God Bless!!
 
 
Praise the Lord! Well we made it another year to a new Thanksgiving day that we have never seen nor will we see it again.

I am thankful this year for so many things and yet I really am thankful for my life and how the Lord is molding me daily. I take it a privilege that He has taken the time to mold me and show concern for me.

May all my friends enjoy this day whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving or not – we thank God for all things and we are blessed people – remember that in all that you do!

Praise the Lord! I love this time of the year – just the change in some of the people around us is just so nice. People still seem to be nicer – although not as many as when I was a kid – but yet and still there is some favor of the Lord in the air from all of us!  

I am thankful to the Lord for all things in Him! I praise the Lord for all things in Him! I am very thankful for the Lord working things out for the upcoming radio station. We were thinking we would have to buy all this equipment and guess what – we do not. Brother Merv found the software for free on line and I have some of it when I got my Adobe Creative Suites 4 Master Collection programs!!! I am still trying to learn that – have to buy books – you know Dreamweaver for Dummies and Photoshop for Dummies. Well we ended up instead of spending $250.00 – only have to spend $74.00 as we just need the headsets, microphones, and external hard drive! Praise the Lord for these mighty financial blessings!! I am thankful to the Lord for all that He is doing in our lives! 

I do not have much to say today as my mind is preparing for the upcoming weeks until the end of the year. Here is why…. 

30 Days of Christmas & 36 Days to the New Year for Good Morning and Honesty Today 

Praise the Lord starting Thursday, November 24th until December 25th, 2009 – the Good Morning and Honesty Today will have 30 Days of Christmas. Each day will be a scripture based message with the word being the gift for the day. There will be writings for each day – including Saturdays and Sundays!  

I will also add a special segment at the end of the daily writings that will include – a daily thanks to the Lord until the New Year. There will be a ‘bigger’ email on Mondays for the Good Morning email until the end of the year – I am working on a better format for the emails so that it is not too jumbled to read!  

For those that have been reading my writing for 3 years now (praise the Lord – wow time flies – 4 years in February, 2010), you know that the holiday season is a time of the year that I love and really pray for more hearts to be open to the true word of the Lord. Let us join in prayer together as it seems that this time of the year more people are open to hear the story of Jesus Christ – well at least to me it seems.

I John 4:4-5 4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

Okay the world is raging against us – our flesh is fighting against us – the fight is on and we sometimes feel as if the entire world has been beating us up. Man these last few days I have felt this exact way. Yet I am standing – yesterday though I was having one of my moments! A serious few moments – my husband said that he has a testimony for Sunday – how he is thankful to get through this week with his wife. Poor man!

I was in a selfish mood yesterday evening. All I said was I – I – I and more I.

I want a new house, I want an office, I want to get a new car – I want a book to learn this program – I want some help – I want you to do this – I want you to do that – I want quiet – I want you to shut up – I want to run away – I want – I want – I want!

Merv said to me – Dear you are being really selfish – I immediately said to him – I am ALWAYS GIVING TO OTHERS – I WANT WHAT I WANT AND I WANT IT NOW! I am tired of waiting – I want my new house – I want an office – and I want a new car – now where is it!!!

Shame on me – LOL I was really in a selfish mood that comes upon me every now and then and to be honest I relish in it! It is truly in the Lord I had stepped away from. It was truly into self that I ran to. I did not want to see the blessings around me and I wanted to just say enough!

I do not want to be like the world – I want to be like Jesus! Hummm to be like Jesus is to die to flesh and keep my mind on Him. So on my way to work – I sang to Him – I talked to Him and in my mind and heart I apologized to Him for my actions were not of Him. I was walking after the flesh and not the spirit! Help me Jesus – so as I type I am listening to the word and I am going to keep myself in the love of God. (Do you know that scripture – LOL (Jude 1:21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.)

So as I was listening to the word – this jumped out at me. . .

I John 5:13-15 13These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

So I shall stand in Him and I shall sing to Him and I shall walk in His will and send my request to Him and Trust in Him and Him alone! Thank you Jesus for the Love that you show me daily! I thank you Lord for all that you are doing in my life and showing me how to live a life in YOU! AMEN!

Jude 1:24-25 24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen

 

 
 
 
Praise the Lord! I am here today – just one of those days of just being here. I will be better once I listen to the word this morning as I continue to speak to the Lord! It amazes me how those around you never truly see what you are going through or what is going on and how sometimes even in trying to tell them – they do not understand or hear you!  

THANK GOD FOR JESUS!!!!

I tell ya – the Lord is truly good and worthy to be praise! I am just feeling out of sorts and the word went forth yesterday that helped so much to put some things in perspective. It does not help any (well does not help my flesh) that I am also re-reading “Me? Obey Him?” as I am typing it up for the WL4J sisters – man I tell ya…submission – ugghhhhh.  

Yet the word yesterday really hit me hard and help me and the more I think about it the better I feel.  

The speaker was: Elder Carter 

The topic was: There is purpose in our suffering.  

The scriptures were: Job 1:6-12, Job 14:1, Romans 5:3-5 and Luke 22:31-33 

The key note for me was: Do not give up but look up to the Lord for there is purpose in your adversity. We have hope in God. There is purpose in our suffering. 

It was really an on time word for me as this past week coming back from vacation was so hard. I did not realize how much I really do every single day. I did not really realize how much work was getting done and how much more was needed to be done. I was resenting some things in my life that is really bothering me and all I could do is cry out to the Lord. 

I was looking at the list of work to do and looking to the Lord saying – how the heck am I getting this done? Why did you take those that were helping from me? What is the purpose in all of this? What is going on with all of this stuff? Yet I was just crying and crying – but no one really understood why. I know that my husband has yet to understand it either – but I know it is yet another test and another situation that is going to give God the glory but it is nasty going through it. 

I tell ya – sometimes it is hard to see the joy in suffering – sometimes it is hard to understand the suffering and the pain – but the Lord says our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts! As hard as it is to go through – it is one thing to know that Jesus is there with us. So we may not have our heads up this morning in joy but if we keep our heads up – the joy will come for our joy is in the Lord!  

Have an awesome day in the Lord – I am headed to listen to the word of the Lord and meditate on His word and His love this day! I know that in Him – there is joy and happiness! God Bless! 
 
 
Praise the Lord! I am so thankful this day and so grateful to the Lord for all that He is doing in my life. It amazes me how life is and I shall just continue to be thankful.  

Okay – get ready for this is an ‘in your face’ type blog I guess – but I am going to keep saying this until I am blue in the face – even until I can speak no longer for I have gone on home to the Lord!  

We do not fight against flesh and blood – but spirits! We have got to come to understand that! We have to surround ourselves with things of the Lord ALL THE TIME! We are using that same old excuse too much – how our flesh is this and our wants! We have to stop it and get more into the Lord.

Too many excuses are being used as to why we are not reading the word, why we are not praying and talking to the Lord. We are using too many excuses as to why our lives are the way they are.  

If you are finding yourself in a mess – it is because we listened to self instead of Jesus – plain and simple. We have to call on the Lord before making a decision – we have to call on the Lord daily. 

Okay yes we are human and we make mistakes – BUT we need to learn from our mistakes. How can we do that – we need to be in the word. I have talked to so many these last few months that are struggling and whenever I ask about reading the word and praying – there is a pause!  

How can we fight a battle without our sword? The word of the Lord is like a sword – it cuts the enemy to pieces and kills the desires of the flesh. Yet we will not do this. It does not matter how long you have walked with the Lord – you need to be in the word of the Lord. Just because you have been saved for 40 years does not mean you know it all – God’s word is vast and there are so many different levels to His word that you are not going to even get it all in one lifetime.  

We have to stop with the excuses and get in the word and PRAY!! We need to have a prayer life, a reading of the word life, a study of the word life along with faith, trust and love! We fail because we do not do those things. Look over your day – is there not something that you can rearrange so that you can spend more time in the word, more time talking to the Lord one on one? 

I bet if you ask the Lord with a sincere heart – He will show you how to do it. We have to fight our flesh and walk in the Spirit. God’s word is so true – and I bet some of you are not even aware of how many different scripture references I used in this writing! LOL  

We need to bring things to a place in our lives that Jesus is FIRST!! His word says all our cares will no longer be important – that there is nothing to worry about – all we must do is delight in Him and our heart’s desires are fulfilled!!  

I tell you one thing that I am learning – although I do not walk in His delight all the time – I have been doing so more often and some of the mess that is coming at me is just that mess and I am able to ignore it and just keep moving on – WITHOUT SKIPPING A BEAT! Now that is nothing but Jesus!  

Trust in Jesus and open the bible – come on now – read those ten chapters a day!! It will truly bless your spirit – your mindset and your entire life if you do!

Praise the Lord! God is truly good and we are blessed in Him daily! I have to give praise to the Lord for He is just so awesome in all that He does. 

I did the Encouragement Hour last night (www.talkshoe.com/tc/11529 - to listen to the hour) and the scripture that has been with me since reading it the other day is  

Isaiah 55:6-11

6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

 10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

 11So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Okay now tell me that is not awesome scripture – so much to feast on in those couple of verses – man that could be Honesty Today topics for weeks! God is so good to us – we really need to take the time to read and study His word – to get the word in our hearts and mind so that we will stay focused in Him.

It is so awesome to come to really understand His word and see it for what it means to us as individuals. You know they are laying off people all around me and yet I still have my job. I had to laugh at myself as I was kind of disappointed to hear I was not getting laid off and smiled – said to the Lord – ‘thank you for the favor and my job’. I was not feeling it too much LOL – yet the Lord keeps showing me how blessed I really am.

I started thinking about how His ways are not my ways – His will is most of the time not my will . . . this flesh is a horrible thing and yet I thought about His return and reign of 1,000 of joy and peace with Him – only to have the enemy come back and try to steer us away yet again from Jesus! (Read Revelations 20 – the entire chapter – it is only 15 verses) So get that word in ya my sisters – get that word deep down inside of you for the enemy is slick and a nasty bugger – the only way to overcome him is to have Jesus leading your life – remember – greater is He that is in YOU than he that is in the world!

Separate yourself from the things of this world and walk in the newness of life in Jesus! If you are not walking according to the will of the Lord and you are not living according to the will of the Lord – the turmoil of this world will destroy you – but in Jesus – surrounded by things of the Lord – you will have perfect peace!

God bless and know that Jesus is the way to live our lives – living in your own means is just a delusion and a way to end up separated from Jesus for all eternity. Hummm. . . He gives us situations when He is silent and we just about lose our minds – hummm eternal separation from Him is NOT what I want! No wonder there will be gnashing of teeth in hell!

Lord - help each of us to continue to look to you for all our help. Help us to be an awesome witness for you – with such holy boldness that we tell all how awesome Jesus is daily! Lord please continue to reign in our lives and if we step outside of your will – Lord please do not hesitate to bring us back into your fold and loving arms. Thank you Jesus for being so faithful to your word even when we are not always faithful to you, for Lord you have truly shown us how blessed we are in you just because you love us! Thank you for this day and all that is going on in our lives for it drawls us closer to you. Bless all those who are reading this with the things that they stand in need of – for Lord – you are Alpha and Omega – the beginning and the end - and may you get the glory for ever and ever - Amen
